DRAFTKEY 0.1.48

More reliable writing assistance while you type

  • Addresses DraftKey quitting when correction chips, fixes, and suggestions appear or disappear rapidly. Version 0.1.47 could still encounter this problem.
  • Keeps the correction chip’s click-to-undo, hover, tooltip, and progress behavior while changing how its visuals are drawn.
  • Includes the earlier improvements for missed typos, lines above the cursor, and writing-model behavior under memory pressure.

DRAFTKEY 0.1.47

Another look at typos in mostly clean sentences

  • Adds up to two short follow-up checks after corrections so a remaining typo can be caught once the surrounding sentence is clearer.
  • Stops these checks when you resume typing and avoids checking the same text again.
  • For the quitting issue that could still occur in this version, see the 0.1.48 notes above.

DRAFTKEY 0.1.46

Corrections across lines and steadier local inference

  • Checks earlier lines after you press Return and pause. Also improves correction of an unfinished-looking final typo and swapped letters.
  • Prevents a slower model response from restoring a typo that was already corrected, and avoids changing a recently corrected word again.
  • On Macs with at least 12 GB of memory, keeps the writing model active under moderate memory pressure while still pausing it under critical pressure.
  • Addresses a floating-panel layout crash after corrections. A further fix for quitting while typing followed in 0.1.48.

DRAFTKEY 0.1.45

Undo, slash commands, and one-word acceptance

  • Improves correction responsiveness with sentence-level checks, and shows a small correction chip with Control + Option + Z to undo.
  • Adds /shorter, /clearer, /warmer, /formal, /casual, and /fix followed by a space for direct rewrites. The same undo shortcut reverses them.
  • Keeps local preferences for familiar typos and words you want left alone, with both lists available in Settings.
  • Supports accepting one suggested word at a time and an optional Fix before sending setting, which is off by default.

Update from the app.

  1. Open DraftKey’s Settings and go to About & updates.
  2. Check the version installed on your Mac and use the available update controls.
  3. If you need the installer, use the official download page. Its download button points to the latest published Mac installer.

Installing an app update uses an internet connection. The writing-model guide explains the model download and the setup steps that use a network connection.

If something still gets in your way.

For quitting while typing, start with the documented 0.1.48 fix. For missing suggestions or a shortcut that does not respond, check permissions, model readiness, and per-app controls in the setup guide.

Contact DraftKey support with the app version, macOS version, affected editor, and steps that reproduce the problem. Keep private drafts and license keys out of public reports. These notes summarize released changes; they do not promise compatibility with every custom text field.
